The Ultimate 3DS Buyers Guide: Importing a 3DS

You are not alone. Many of us have toyed with the ideal of getting our 3DS early. Importing from Japan is one way. Not the easiest way to obtain one. Though via this slightly foolish channel will appeal to some. Foolish for two good reasons. 1 - The warranty, 2 - Nintendo games. 3DS is region locked the games over here will not run on a foreign machine. Using an R4 card to run bootleg Nintendo DS games, and non authentic software, voids the guarantee and could make the system unusable. UK/EU models are essential if you plan to stay here.
